The Great American Smoke-Out, sponsored by the American Cancer Society is Thursday, November 15, 2018. This annual observance provides an excellent opportunity to encourage those that smoke to quit and to educate community members and youth about the harmful effects of using tobacco products, including electronic nicotine devices.
Just quitting for one day is a step toward a healthier life. Tools and resources for the Great American Smoke-Out can be found at www.cancer.org. Help for those looking to quit can also be found at the NJ Quitline 1-866—657-8677.
