About the Paterson Museum

The Paterson Museum is housed in the former Erecting Shop of the Rogers Locomotive Works located in the heart of the Paterson Great Falls National Park. The displays reflect the industrial history of the City as a place of invention and innovation. The permanent exhibits include the Lenape people, textile machinery, Colt Paterson firearms, Wrights air plane engines, early fire engines and the first successful submarines designed by John P. Holland. Exhibits continually change to highlight the people and current culture compliment the permanent collections.
