  1. April is National Autism Awareness Month!

    The Borough of Totowa Public Library presents "PUZZLED" by Luke Mulroony, a local Totowa resident who is 18 years old and attends Passaic Valley High school's Aurtism program, has a gift of putting puzzles together pretty quickly! Luke will be displaying his framed and unframed puzzles for the month of April during "Autism Awareness Month" here at the Totowa Library. His masterpieces will be for sale! Last year he sold out of his puzzles and took special orders. There will be a reception for Luke on Monday, April 9th, from 6pm-8pm. Come and enjoy some refreshments as you browse around! Patrons can also view his puzzles during Library hours!

  3. National Junior Ranger Day

    April 21, 2018, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park

    Calling all Junior Rangers! Become a "Major League" Junior Ranger at Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park on April 21st, 2018 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Decorate your own baseball cap (while supplies last!!) and learn about the history behind our National Historic Landmark, Hinchliffe Stadium. Join the author of the book "Skatekey" for story time at 11:30am. Jennifer will read excerpts from her book, and share experiences from her time as a Central High School cheerleader who performed in Hichliffe Stadium. Eastern National, one of our cooperating associations, will be joining us to hand out free copies of their new "Passport To Your National Parks® Junior Ranger Edition" books (while supplies last!!!). Collect official park and Junior Ranger cancellations with the #NPSPassport and #FindYourPark!   5. Lecture Series: Outwater's Militia and Bergen County

    The Dey Mansion is hosting another lecture on Bergen County and its militia as part of its 2018 lecture series. Special guest Robert J. Shanahan, Jr., Esq. will explore Outwater’s Militia and how culture, economics, and religion ultimately shaped their rebellion during the American Revolution. Event Information: The event will be held at the Dey Mansion in Wayne, located at 199 Totowa Road. The lecture begins promptly at 1:00PM. Tours of Dey Mansion and its grounds immediately follows the lecture. The event is FREE and open to the public.
